It is not possible to match skin exactly; however camouflage color can help the appearance of a scar to “blend in” better. Flesh tone colors are implanted in hundreds of dots, much like pixels in digital photography, until the dots resemble the healthy skin. The technique used to implant the color, along with the use of appropriate aftercare ointments, can also improve the texture of a scar.
